This program includes introduction to the paraglider and associated equipment, basic weather information, and ground handling that will lead to your first solo flights. Ground handling is the basis of flying and most important for paragliding, we spend the first hours learning how to ground handle the equipment. For this we have designed some smaller training wings that we use and have a lot of fun. We then move on to a larger wing and to our first flights. Most of our first flights are in Wilderness from the dunes but we also do flights in Cape Town weather permitting. If possible we give you 5 flights but that is weather dependent and on how fit you are.. If you decide to do the intro in Wilderness you can carry on and do the basic license course. All your flights can be used towards you license as we use the first and last weekend of the basic course as intro.
The course is designed as an introduction to the sport that will enable you to make an educated decision regarding paragliding and you. If you decide to continue with the Basic Licence Course, the Introductory Course fees will be applied towards the Basic Licence fee. Price: R2650
